• Write to your MP and to David Lammy, Minister for Higher Education, urging them to intervene and to support EDM 575 (www.writetothem.com for contact details) • Join our days of action. Help spread the word about the threat more widely.
• Comment on stories in the press; online versions often have a comments page for reactions. Better still, write letters contact the press, national and local.
• If you are not already a member, join one of the recognized trades unions. See http://www.unison.org.uk/join/ (for PSD staff) or http://joinonline.ucu.org.uk/ (for academic staff and some students)
